Madjeen Lorthe is a Certified Life & Career Transition Coach based in Boston who specializes in guiding women of color through significant life changes with confidence and ease. With over two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, working as a leader, mental health counselor, and coach, Madjeen decided to make her own major life and career transition to fully embrace her life’s purpose. She has dedicated her career to helping women of color reach their full potential and her background as a mental health counselor enables her to work through a trauma-sensitive lens in doing so. Madjeen provides a nurturing environment for self-discovery and harnessing resilience, ensuring that as women of color, her clients can effectively manage both their professional ambitions and personal goals, while also prioritizing their well-being amidst the intricacies of their cultural identity, societal expectations, and systemic barriers.
As a black immigrant woman, Madjeen experienced being 'the first' or 'the only' in professional environments and understands the unique challenges and pressures that come with such positions. She brings this deep personal understanding into her coaching, offering a space where women of color can feel truly seen and heard.
